"good vibes only" is everywhere. bumper stickers. instagram bios. tattoos on people who are actively in a bad mood.

I get it. the phrase got overused. but I still mean it.

what it actually means

it doesn't mean pretending everything is fine. it doesn't mean avoiding hard stuff or faking a smile.

for me it means: I'm not going to let the wrong energy in if I can help it. I'm going to protect what matters. family. music. the people who show up real.

my abuela would say it differently. she'd say it in Spanish. she'd probably say something about God. she wouldn't be wrong.

la solución es Dios. that's real advice. I'm not going to argue with it.

life is beautiful
